UGC NET June 2026 city intimation slip released at ugcnet.nta.nic.in, check steps to download, direct link, admit card update and more

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance examination city intimation slip for UGC NET June 2026. Registered candidates can access the slip through the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, from June 10, 2026.

The examination is scheduled to be conducted across various centres in the country on June 22, June 23, June 24, June 25, June 29 and June 30, 2026. NTA has stated that the city intimation slip is meant only to inform candidates about their allotted examination city and should not be considered the admit card.

Candidates can download the city intimation slip by logging in to the official portal using their application number and password. The facility has been activated for all registered applicants appearing for UGC NET June 2026.


The slip enables candidates to check the city where their examination centre will be located ahead of the test.

UGC NET June 2026: Admit card to be issued separately

NTA has clarified that the city intimation slip does not serve as the admit card. The admit card for UGC NET June 2026 will be released separately at a later stage for candidates appearing in the examination.

Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the official website for updates related to UGC NET June 2026. Those facing difficulties while downloading the city intimation slip can contact the NTA helpdesk at 011-40759000 or write to ugcnet@nta.ac.in.

The examination will be conducted on June 22, June 23, June 24, June 25, June 29 and June 30, 2026. The notification has been issued by the Director (Exams), NTA, from its New Delhi office at NSIC-MDBP Building, Okhla Industrial Estate.

Instructions for candidates

NTA has advised candidates to treat the city intimation slip only as advance information regarding the allotted examination city. It cannot be used for entry to the examination centre.

Candidates should follow updates published on the official website and download their admit cards once released. They must also carry valid identification documents to the examination centre in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.

Applicants have been urged to check the portal regularly for notifications and verify that all details correspond with their application records before the examination to avoid inconvenience on the test day.
