The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key for UGC NET June 2025 soon. Once available, candidates who appeared for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) will be able to access the answer key on the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The examination was conducted across five days — June 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29, in two sessions daily: the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.

The UGC NET June 2025 exam comprised two papers, both containing multiple-choice, objective-type questions.


Steps to Check UGC NET Answer Key 2025

Step 1: Go to the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link for UGC NET June 2025 Answer Key on the homepage
Step 3: Log in using your credentials (application number and password/date of birth)
Step 4: The answer key will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download and print it for future use

How to Raise Objections on the Provisional Answer Key

  • If candidates notice any discrepancies in the answer key, they can submit objections by:
  • Logging in to ugcnet.nta.ac.in using their application number, date of birth, and captcha
  • Viewing/download the provisional answer key and their recorded responses
  • Cross-checking answers using the question ID provided
  • Selecting the question to challenge and uploading supporting documents in a single PDF file
  • Paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question and downloading the payment receipt

Exam Highlights

The UGC NET June 2025 was held for 83 subjects, including Hindi, English, French, Spanish, Sociology, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, and others
The question papers were available in English and Hindi, except for language-specific subjects
Each question carried 2 marks, and there was no negative marking for incorrect answers
