The last date to apply for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2026 examination is tomorrow, October 28. A total of 1,36,993 candidates have yet to upload their photograph and signature, while their fee payment also remains pending. Another 31,580 applicants have uploaded the required documents but have not paid the examination fee.

Candidates must complete their applications by October 28, 2026, at 11:50 pm. Those who miss the regular deadline can use the scheduled late-fee window from October 29 to October 31.

The application correction facility is scheduled to remain open from November 2 to November 4, 2026.

They must enter the required personal and academic details, upload the prescribed documents, pay the examination fee and download the confirmation page. Merely registering on the portal does not mean the application has been completed.
