As per PTI inputs, the city intimation slip is a preliminary document. The official admit card, which will carry details such as the exact exam centre address, reporting time, and shift, will be released a few days before the examination.

What is a city intimation slip?

The city intimation slip is not the admit card. It is issued to inform candidates in advance about the city where their exam will be conducted, enabling them to:
  • Plan travel and accommodation
  • Make logistical arrangements to reach the exam venue on time
  • Avoid last-minute confusion or delays
The slip does not mention the exam centre address, roll number, or reporting time. These details will be provided on the official admit card.
