National Testing Agency likely to announce UGC NET 2022 results soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to declare the results for the UGC NET (University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test) December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycles soon. It is expected that the agency will announce the results in the next few days. However, there is no official confirmation from the central examination body yet in this regard.

Once NTA declares the results for UGC NET, candidates can check the same on official website of NTA - nta.nic.in or ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Along with the results, NTA will also release the final answer keys for UGC NET 2022. Candidates are expected to be allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key.

UGC NET 2022 was held in four phases. Phase 1 of the examination was held from July 9 to July 12; phase 2 from September 20 to September 23; phase 3 from September 29 to October 1; phase 4 from October 8 to October 14.


UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles were held together as the December 2021 cycle was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation in the country. Keeping in mind the effect on candidates and to make the exam cycles more consistent, the NTA decided to combine the December 2021 and June 2022 cycles.

To check the results, candidates will have to follow these steps:

Step 1 - Visit the UGC NET's official page (ugcnet.nta.nic.in) of NTA's site (nta.nic.in).

Step 2 -A link indicating "UGC NET Result 2022" will appear on the screen after NTA releases the result. Click on it.

Step 3 - Now, enter your credentials in the boxes and submit them.

Step 4 - Download the NTA UGC NET 2022 Result and take a printout of the document.
