As per a viral post on popular social media platform, Reddit, the user said "Typo...or awkward invitation to move forward? So you're not moving forward with another candidate? When should I expect my welcome packet?"
The message in the image shared by the user, containing the rejection letter read, "Thank you for your application for the Compliance Manager position. After careful consideration, we've made the decision to not move forward with another candidate at this time. We appreciate your interest in the position and wish you success in your job search. Regards, Talent Acquisition Team."

Several users reacted with hilarious replies to the post. "Your resumée was so awful that we have decided we don't actually want to hire anybody ever again," said one user in reply. “You’re welcome. Sucks for that other candidate though. I’ll see you guys on Monday," said another user.
"Thank you for an update. As a sign of appreciation I also decided not to move forward with other company," said one more user.

The user crafted this list with the help of his cousin, who works as a recruitment officer for a well-known firm. The post included eight awkward things that could prevent an applicant from getting hired. Some of the reasons listed were "being overly confident,” which the employee warned might be construed as pride, and "being too attractive,” which the cousin stated could be distracting people weighted down by work.
