The billionaire had uploaded an amusing tweet about croissants, which a user took as an opportunity to ask Mahindra why his son-in-law was not Indian.
Recently, Mahindra, uploaded a photo from a bakery in India that misspelt croissant instead wrote Crocin. In the caption, he noted that at least his French son-in-law believes croissant is an apt treatment for all aches and ailments. As Indians have also mastered an abridged software programming language, he added to his caption beside a photo of a French baguette with the incorrect spelling.
While most users enjoyed the joke and applauded Anand Mahindra for his humour, one person attempted to get clever with Anand Mahindra. He said that although it's none of his business, he questioned Anand Mahindra why he didn't have an Indian son-in-law. In respone, Mahindra said his daughters chose their life partners, and he's proud of them.
Twitter users backed the businessman, with one user saying that there's no boundary in love.
