Twitter suspends World's richest person Elon Musk's account - Truth or Prank?
Following Elon Musk's announcement of ending the Twitter deal, a message started to trend on social media that the microblogging site has suspended the Tesla CEO's account.

The news spread quickly through social media. While some people expressed their concern over the information, others expressed disbelief. However, later on it was found that the suspended Twitter handle was not of Elon Musk but a fake account.
It was found that it was just a prank. The suspended Twitter account reportedly had an uppercase I and lowercase letter l, while writing the username as Elon Musk. This way, the final username of the fake account looked the same as Elon Musk's real Twitter handle. It was later figured out by some netizens who posted proof of Elon Musk's real account being intact. A Twitter user wrote that anyone could have fallen for this prank as the "i(I)" made all the difference.
Earlier, the Tesla CEO had stated that he would not be buying Twitter. The world's richest man has notified his decision regarding the termination of the Twitter deal in a US Securities and Exchange Commission filing. According to the Elon Musk's lawyers, Twitter has breached "multiple provisions" of the agreement. Musk stated that Twitter could not provide him with enough information regarding the number of fake and spam accounts active on the microblogging platform.
While Twitter had earlier told that spam accounts on the platform make up less than 5 per cent of its total users, Musk believes that the number could be around 20 per cent or more.
Meanwhile, Twitter's board has stated that they are planning to take legal action against Elon Musk to ensure proper enforcement of the agreement.
