'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' Box office Collection Day 2: Ranbir Kapoor's film on track to surpass Kartik Aaryan’s 'Shehzada'
The Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor film saw a drop on its second day, but its collections are expected to rise over the weekend.

Early estimates for day two are around Rs 9.5 crore-Rs 10.5 crore, bringing the total collections to around Rs 25.25-26.25 crore. Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst, had previously shared estimates from national chains for day two, stating that the film had earned Rs 4.70 crore in PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis theatres.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’s box office collections are significantly higher than those of the other two recent star vehicles. Selfie, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, made Rs 11.40 crore over its entire run, while Shehzada, starring Kartik Aaryan, only made Rs 26 crore. The movie appears to be on track to surpass the lifetime collections of the Kartik Aaryan film in its first weekend.
‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ is Ranbir’s first release of the year, and it marks Shraddha’s return to the big screen after ‘Baaghi 3’ in 2020. Luv Ranjan, who has not directed a film since 2018’s ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, also makes a big comeback.
