The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced that the issuance of Sarva Darshan token will remain suspended for three days to manage the expected surge of devotees ahead of the annual Ratha Saptami festival at Tirumala. According to the official notification, slotted Sarva Darshan(SSD) tokens will not be issued in Tirupati from January 24 to January 26. The issuance of tokens for next-day darshan will resume on January 26. The Ratha Saptami festival will be observed at Tirumala on January 25. In a bid to avoid confusion among devotees, TTD has installed special notice boards at all concerned token counters, informing pilgrims about the temporary suspension and revised schedule.

Ratha Saptami is regarded as one of the most important festivals at Tirumala, as it marks the ceremonial procession of Lord Venkateswara on various vahanas. The temple sees a massive surge in pilgrims during this time, prompting the administration to implement advance crowd management measures. Devotees planning a visit to Tirumala are advised to check darshan schedules beforehand and follow official TTD updates for a smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage.

Sevas and darshans cancelled at TTD

Arjitha Sevas including Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara stands cancelled


Privilege darshans for NRIs, parents with infants, senior citizens, and the differently-abled also cancelled

Slotted Sarva Darshan(SSD) tokens will not be issued in Tirupati from Jan 24–26.

Except for Protocol dignitaries VIP Darshan remains cancelled; NO recommendation letters will be accepted on January 24.

5.30–8 am (Sun Rise 6.45 am): Suryaprabha Vahanam

9 –10 am: Chinna Sesha Vahanam

11 am–12 pm: Garuda Vahanam
