TSPSC recruitment 2022: Applications for 185 Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts to begin on December 30; see details

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has invited online applications from qualified candidates for the position of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (CLASS-A & B) in the Telangana Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department. From December 30 onwards, interested candidates can apply for the vacancies on the official website tspsc.gov.in. The deadline for applications is January 19, 2023, at 5:00 PM.

The recruitment exam (Objective Type) is set to take place on March 15th and 16th, 2023. The Objective Type written examination will be held in Hyderabad. The hall tickets can be downloaded beginning seven days before the examination.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 185 vacancies, 170 of which are for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Class -A) and 15 for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Class -B) (Class -B).

Criteria for Eligibility

Candidates should be at least 18 years old and no older than 44 years old.

Educational background:

VAS (Class A): A Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry or equivalent qualification from any recognised University or Institution in India or abroad is required.

VAS (Class B): Applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry or equivalent qualification from any recognised University or Institution in India or abroad, as well as a Post Graduation Degree or a Postgraduate Diploma in Microbiology/Parasitology/Epidemiology/Virology/Immunology/ Pathology or a Master's Degree in Veterinary Science with Biotechnology or a Master's Degree in Veterinary Science with Veterinary Public Health.
