TS inter result toppers list 2026: Check science, commerce and arts toppers, marks and district-wise data

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has released the TS Inter Results 2026 on April 12, bringing focus to individual scores as well as the much-awaited toppers list for both first- and second-year students. Along with the results, the board will publish detailed performance data, including top rankers, marks secured and best-performing districts across Telangana.

Students who appeared for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) can access their results and marks memo through official websites such as tsbie.cgg.gov.in and bse.telangana.gov.in. The results are also available via DigiLocker and SMS services.

Toppers list and key details

The TS Inter First Year Results 2026 recorded a higher pass percentage among girls at 74.40%, compared to 57.69% among boys, highlighting a significant gender gap in performance.


A total of 4,89,123 students appeared for the examination, of which 3,23,807 passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 66.20%.

Along with the declaration of results, the board will release a comprehensive report containing key statistics, including the number of students who appeared, passed and failed. It will also include division-wise results, grades and subject-wise performance trends.

The toppers list will feature high achievers from both TS Inter 1st and 2nd year, along with their marks and district-wise representation, offering insights into academic trends across the state.

How to check via SMS

Students can access their results through SMS by opening the messaging app, typing the message in the prescribed format, entering their hall ticket number accurately and sending it to the designated official number. The result will be delivered to the same number.

Exam dates and marks memo details

The TS Inter 1st year examinations were conducted from February 25 to March 17, 2026, while the 2nd year exams were held from February 26 to March 18, 2026. The marks memo will include student details, subject-wise marks, hall ticket number and overall qualifying status.

Next steps after results

Students who clear the 2nd year exams can apply for undergraduate courses. Admission to engineering programmes will depend on TG EAPCET scores, while medical aspirants must qualify through NEET. Degree college admissions will also consider TS Inter 2nd year marks.

Recounting process and past trends

The recounting process allows students to verify whether marks have been correctly totalled without re-evaluation of answers. Applications can be submitted through the official portal after the results are declared.

The overall pass percentage recorded over the last four years was 71.37% in 2025, 64.19% in 2024, 63.49% in 2023 and 67.16% in 2022.
