Triumph Bonneville T40, T40 Black launched: Check price, colours, engine, features and more

Triumph has expanded its 350cc motorcycle portfolio with the introduction of the Bonneville T40 and T40 Black, bringing the brand’s signature retro roadster styling to the segment. The new motorcycles blend classic Bonneville-inspired design with contemporary electronics and a specially tuned 350cc engine.

The Bonneville T40 and T40 Black are priced at Rs 2,79,999, while the Bonneville T4 is available at INR 2,54,999.

The new models bring several traditional design elements, including a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round headlamp, spoke wheels and twin rear shocks. These are paired with modern rider assistance and connectivity features.

Four colour options

The Bonneville T40 will be offered in four colour options: Meriden Blue, Aegean Blue, Fusion White and Matt Pewter Grey.

350cc engine and performance

Powering the new motorcycles is a liquid-cooled 350cc single-cylinder TR Series engine. Triumph has tuned the engine to provide stronger low-end torque along with a smoother and more relaxed power delivery.

Riding modes and safety features

The Bonneville T40 and T40 Black come with three riding modes — Road, Rain and Eco, along with two additional customisable modes. These modes adjust the motorcycle’s throttle response, traction control and ABS settings according to riding conditions.

The motorcycles also get cruise control, lean-sensitive cornering ABS and cornering traction control, adding to their safety and convenience features.

Bonneville T4 features

The Bonneville T4 also receives several modern features, including a colour LCD instrument display with turn-by-turn navigation, multiple riding modes and dual-channel ABS.
