Actress Trisha Krishnan was seen visiting Tirupati on her birthday, an incident that coincided with a politically charged moment in Tamil Nadu as the counting of votes for the state is underway. Though most exit poll projections gave an advantage to DMK, Axis My India gave a massive 98-120 seats to actor-politician Vijay's party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).

Trisha visits Tirupati

Trisha marked the eve of her 43rd birthday and she shared a video of her trip on Instagram. She travelled to Tirupati on Sunday night and by Monday, visuals of the actress offering prayers at the temple had surfaced online. In the video, she is seen making a quiet visit away from the public fanfare.


In her Instagram video, Trisha Krishnan is seen travelling in her car and a signboard on the road can be spotted in the video and one can read 'Tirupati' written on the board. It looks like the actress is travelling to Tirupati’s Tirumala Temple to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji.

Trisha-Vijay relationship

As the nation eagerly waits for Tamil Nadu election results 2026, by visiting Tirupati Trisha has again hinted at her relationship with Vijay. The speculation around Trisha and Vijay's relationship intensified after his wife Sangeeta Sornalingam, reportedly filed for divorce, alleging that the actor was involved in a relationship with a colleague. The two have long been rumoured to be dating.
