Tripura board to announce class 10, 12 results by June 10

May is literally the month of results. CBSE and ICSE declared the results of classes 10 and 12 earlier this month, while state boards are announcing class 10 and class 12 results every other day. But Tripura board students, who took class 10 and 12 exams earlier this year, have to wait a bit longer to see how they performed in the exams.

As per reports, the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will declare the results of class 10 and class 12 exams by June 10.

"We are planning to announce the results of both Class 10 and 12 exams within June 10. We shall let you know the schedule for the announcement of results once it is decided," a report in the Hindustan Times quoted Tripura Board president Bhabatosh Saha as saying.


The Tripura board conducted the exams in March this year. About 38,116 candidates appeared in Class 10 exams, while 33,435 took part in Class 12 exams.

Results of both classes 10 and 12 are expected to be published on the www.tbse.in, www.tripura.nic.in, www.tripuraresults.nic.in websites.

Last year, 86 per cent students cleared class 10 exams, while 94.46 per cent cleared class 12.

Many state boards have been releasing or are set to announce the results of their class 10 and 12 results this month.

CBSE too had announced results for classes 10 and 12 earlier this month, in which over 3.08 lakh students scored above 90 per and 66,000 secured scores above 95 per cent.

The CISCE declared the results of class 10 and 12 exams on May 14 with 98.94 per cent and 96.93 per cent of students, respectively, clearing the board examinations. In Class 10, nine students shared the top rank with 99.80 per cent marks. In Class 12, five students shared the first rank with 99.75 per cent.
