According to news reports, more Indians are flying to their vacation destinations, making hotel reservations and purchasing high-quality luggage in increasing numbers.

According to the NSO's preliminary estimates for GDP for the current year, the economy expanded at a rate of 7%, entirely due to the strength of services, which expanded at a rate of 9.1%, faster than recently, while agriculture grew at a rate of 3.5% annually and business expanded at a rate of 4.1%, faster than the 3% average for the sector over the previous five years.
