Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition launched in India: Check price, booking date, features, variants, exterior and interior changes

Toyota has introduced the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition in India, with prices starting at Rs 36.51 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is offered in 4x2 manual and automatic configurations, with bookings scheduled to open on October 12, 2026. The update focuses on cosmetic changes and additional convenience features, with no engine, transmission or performance revisions announced.

Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition gets exterior and cabin updates

The new edition distinguishes itself from the standard Fortuner through a series of styling changes. These include a redesigned front grille, gloss-black alloy wheels with matching hub caps, black rear door garnish and a black-finished antenna. A black roof, body-side mouldings and an exclusive bonnet emblem further set the edition apart.

The cabin features black-and-maroon upholstery on the seats and door trims, along with ambient lighting and illuminated scuff plates. The overall interior layout remains unchanged.


Toyota has also added auto-folding outside rear-view mirrors and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) to improve everyday convenience.

Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition prices and variants

The 4x2 manual variant is priced at Rs 36.51 lakh (ex-showroom), while the 4x2 automatic costs Rs 38.72 lakh. The automatic version is priced Rs 2.21 lakh higher than the manual.

Both variants feature a rear-wheel-drive 4x2 configuration. Toyota has listed no four-wheel-drive option for the Leader Edition. The SUV will be available in three exterior colours: Super White, Platinum White Pearl and Attitude Black.

Finance options and warranty benefits

Toyota is offering financing options with tenures of up to seven years, as well as its Smart Balloon Finance scheme. Buyers will receive five years of complimentary roadside assistance.

The standard warranty covers three years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever comes first. An extended warranty can be availed for up to five years or 2.20 lakh kilometres.
