Tollywood’s actor Sharwanand gets engaged to Rakshita Reddy

Telugu actor Sharwanand Myneni got engaged to Rakshita Reddy in a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad. The engagement ceremony was nothing less than a star-studded affair with various celebrities from Tollywood in attendance.

Ram Charan and his wife Upasana, Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha, rumoured couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddarth, Rana Daggubati, Akhil Akkineni, Allari Naresh, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amala, Srikanth, Naga Shaurya, Vennela Kishore and Producer Dil Raju were some of the notable celebs who graced the ceremony with their presence.

Sharwanand also broke the news of his engagement to his fans on social media, sharing some adorable pictures from the ceremony on Instagram. He introduced fiancée Rakshita as his “special one” and asked for fan’s blessings for “the big step” he’s taken in life.


The to-be wed couple was dressed to perfection on their big day. The telugu actor was seen sporting an off-white kurta and a pearl necklace, while his gorgeous fiancee donned a pastel blue and baby pink sari with a heavily embellished pink blouse, and a glamorous diamond choker. The alliance is said to be a love cum arranged affair, and the date and venue of the wedding is expected to surface sometime soon in near future.

Rakshita Reddy is the granddaughter of politician Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy, while her father Madhusudhan Reddy is a lawyer in Andhra Pradesh’s High Court.
