Looking at the TN SSLC 2025 results, over 8.71 lakh students appeared for the examinations, with 8,17,261 students passing, giving a pass percentage of 93.8% — a 2.3 percentage point increase from the previous year. Sivagangai district secured the top spot in the TN SSLC pass percentage rankings with 98.31%, while 4,917 schools across Tamil Nadu achieved a 100% pass rate in the TN SSLC exams.Among the TN SSLC students who scored centum, Science was the most popular subject. Female students continued to outperform male students in the TN SSLC exams, recording a pass percentage of 95.88% for girls compared to 91.74% for boys. This trend was consistent in Mathematics and English, where girls scored about two percentage points higher than boys. At the district level, Trichy and Kanyakumari showed the largest gender gaps in TN SSLC results, exceeding three percentage points in favor of girls.
