Tito Jackson, brother of Michael and Janet Jackson, died due to heart attack: Report

Tito Jackson, a member of the legendary Jackson 5 and the third oldest child in the famous Jackson family, has reportedly passed away at the age of 70. As per reports Tito, elder brother to Michael and Janet Jackson, died on Sunday, September 15. Longtime family friend and former manager Steve Manning confirmed his passing, though the official cause of death remains undetermined.

According to reports, Tito may have suffered a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma. However, an official cause of death has not yet been announced by authorities. Tito was the third child in the famous Jackson family, who rose to prominence in the 1960s and 1970s.

A Solo Career of Tito in Blues Music

Though widely recognized for his contributions to The Jackson 5, Tito also made a name for himself as a solo blues artist. In 2003, he embarked on a solo career, releasing two albums—Tito Time in 2016 and Under Your Spell in 2021. His musical legacy extended beyond The Jackson 5, showcasing his versatility as a musician.

Tito was a key part of the Jackson 5, alongside his younger brother Michael and siblings Jermaine, Marlon, and Jackie. The Motown R&B group rose to global fame in the 1960s and 1970s. Tito continued to honor his brother Michael's legacy, speaking candidly about the loss of his younger brother, the King of Pop, in 2009. "The world was not kind to Michael at all. I don't know why," Tito said in an interview last month with The Mirror. "His death was such a major tragedy... he wasn’t just a musician or an artist, he was a loving person."
