Firdaus Ibrahim Baloch has spent nearly three decades working for the Shroff family. What began as a job as a driver when he was just 20 gradually grew into a relationship built on trust, with Baloch becoming a familiar presence in Tiger Shroff’s daily life. That long association came into focus after a shooting incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, when unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire at the vehicle carrying the Bollywood actor and his driver. The firing incident took place near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu as Tiger was returning from a birthday celebration. Motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly fired five rounds at the vehicle, with three bullets penetrating the passenger-side window. One of the bullets struck Baloch in the left forearm. Tiger immediately moved to help him, took the driver's seat and drove first to Santacruz police station before heading to Nanavati Hospital.

Doctors said Baloch was stable and out of danger. The Shroff family has reportedly offered to cover his medical treatment and recovery expenses. A video of the aftermath showed Tiger switching seats with his injured driver. A woman can be heard urging him to take the actor away from the scene quickly. An autorickshaw driver was also injured in the firing. He was identified as Chauhan and taken to Cooper Hospital with bullet injuries to his chest.
