'Thunivu' box office collection Day 11: Ajith Kumar-starrer enters 100-crore club

Ajith Kumar-starrer Thunivu has crossed a major milestone as the film entered the 100-crore club just after 11 days of release. The movie turned out to be a super hit and surpassed fans' expectations by reaching a milestone. Thunivu surpassed the expectations of fans and is on its way to cross all the box office records . The movie was released on January 11, 2023, ahead of the Pongal as the director gave a treat to all the fans.

Thunivu received a huge collection because of its 6-day weekend opening, including 4 days of Pongal. There was a slight dip in the collection on its first weekday, but the movie breezed through with good numbers. On the 10th day, the movie collected Rs. 2.45 crores. The 11th day saw a huge rise and did a business of Rs. 4 crores.

Thunivu witnessed a massive opening in Tamil Nadu and in the overseas market. Day 1 collection in Tamil Nadu is Rs. 23 crores. Thunivu passed the $300k mark in the UK. This happens to be the first movie of the megastar to break records even in the overseas market. The movie also created a noise in New Zealand, Australia, France, and Papua New Guinea.
