Three Indian cricketers take an Uber in Australia; The cab driver's priceless reaction caught on camera
What would you do if three international cricketers suddenly got into your car? An Uber driver in Adelaide found himself in exactly that situation when three Indian cricketers hopped into his cab — leaving him completely speechless. The heartwarming (and slightly hilarious) moment was caught on the dashcam and has since gone viral, earning the driver a flood of love from fans online.

“Wait… aren’t you guys cricketers?”

The video shows the driver waiting for his pickup before being left utterly stunned as the trio stepped in — Prasidh Krishna in the front seat, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel settling in the back.

The driver, visibly shocked but composed, greeted them politely and continued driving, occasionally glancing over as if trying to confirm if it was really them. When they finally reached their destination, he managed a quick, respectful chat — careful not to intrude on their privacy despite the star power sitting just a few feet away.

Fans online couldn’t get enough of the moment. “That driver had the most relatable reaction ever,” one user wrote. “Respect for keeping his cool — I’d have lost it!” another commented.

Interestingly, the three cricketers — all former Rajasthan Royals teammates — are currently part of India’s ODI squad in Australia. None of them, however, have featured in the first two matches, with India trailing 0–2 in the series.

As the final ODI heads to Sydney’s iconic SCG, fans are hoping to see this young trio get some game time and make an impact before heading home.

The viral clip may have been just a casual Uber ride, but for the lucky Adelaide driver — and fans watching online — it became a moment of pure cricket joy.

Sometimes, even a short car ride can turn into an unforgettable story.
