"This is so relatable": What makes Zomato’s 'Dropped Utensils' Spotify playlist a perfect tribute to desi households?

There are a few things that are quintessentially related to a desi household and add much-needed spice to the lives of Indians. If you are a desi, then you must have had at least one of those dramatic experiences in your life when you broke a glass or any utensil inadvertently, and your mother must have had made you repent your very existence.

Someone from Zomato must have had the same experience, which led to the creation of the ‘Dropped Utensils’ playlist on Spotify. The list is simply a treat for desi households, with songs like Dhan Tana from Shahid Kapoor’s movie and Tan Tana Tan from the movie Judwa. The playlist also has a wonderful track titled, Tod Do by Arun Kumar.




Since being shared on Twitter, the post has already earned more than 10,000 views and all sorts of funny reactions. In fact, Tinder India’s official Twitter profile also reacted to the post.
