This Apple employee's 10-year anniversary gift will make you want to work at Apple
Work anniversaries are celebrated with grandeur, usually accompanied by special tokens of appreciation. But when an Apple employee recently marked a remarkable 10-year milestone with the company, the nature of his commemorative gift raised eyebrow...

Recently, Marcos Alonso, an Apple employee working as a Human Interface designer, marked his remarkable 10-year work anniversary and took to social media to reveal the extraordinary gift he received from its CEO, Tim Cook.
Alonso's gift was a solid metal memento, meticulously crafted from what appeared to be aluminium, featuring chamfered edges and a gleaming Apple logo at its heart. This unique keepsake proudly displayed the employee's name and the date he completed his decade of service, all accompanied by the number "10" signifying the milestone. Even the packaging of the gift resembled that of a genuine Apple device, adding to its distinctive charm. This exclusive Apple product also included a heartfelt message from CEO Tim Cook.
A video created by YouTuber DongleBookPro delved into the creation process of this exceptional item. According to the video's information, remnants from the production process were collected and repurposed to form a 100% recycled, custom alloy. This alloy underwent a series of transformations, from being cast into lengthy ingots to being sliced into blocks and meticulously machined to their final form. The block's surface underwent fine blasting, and its edges were masterfully diamond-cut.
Subsequently, the block was anodized to preserve its finish and establish a protective layer, with a stainless steel Apple logo adorning the centre.
