The site of Sidhu Moosewala's cremation has become a bazaar for his followers

Six months after Sidhu Moosewala's death, his fans continue to go to Musa village in Mansa district to pay their respects.

A bazaar with over a dozen kiosks selling Sidhu Moosewala's products has sprung near where he was cremated in the fields of Musa village.

Hundreds of his followers visit his cremation place regularly. On Sundays, his parents greet his followers. Therefore the crowd is generally a significant number of people.


The owners of these shops are doing brisk business, with their followers purchasing T-shirts with his photographs, posters, keychains, and other Moosewala-related items from these stalls.

People come not only from nearby districts but also from other parts of the state, including the Majha and Doaba areas, as well as Haryana and Rajasthan. They visit to pay their respects to the slain singer.

The site where Moosewala was cremated is not far from his home. Even though the village has a designated cremation site, his parents chose to cremate him in their fields. Visitors are seen taking photographs and filming videos at the location.

He was a true blazing light and legend, and many have come to pay respects to him. On 29 May, Moosewala was shot dead in Jawaharke village, Mansa district.
