Netflix has officially confirmed that its hit spy thriller series, The Recruit, will be returning for a second season in 2024. The show premiered on December 16, 2022, and has garnered significant praise and a dedicated audience. The show's creator, Alexi Hawley, is known for his work on popular network television shows such as Castle, The Rookie, The Following, and Body of Proof.

The show stars Noah Centineo as Owen Hendricks, a lawyer who is thrown into a conspiracy plot involving the CIA. The series consists of eight episodes, and upon its release, it quickly gained positive reception from fans and critics alike.

In an interview with Collider, Hawley hinted that he had a blueprint for the show's future and where he would like to take it. He also stated that he believes in being bold and dramatic, even if it means sacrificing future seasons. He trusts that people will come to the show, giving it another shot.
