'The Kerala Story' box office collection day 8: Adah Sharma starrer eyes Rs 150 crore for next week

The journey of "The Kerala Story" has been quite successful as it continues to collect impressive figures. On Friday, it amassed a total of Rs 12.23 crores, which is only slightly lower than the previous day's earnings of Rs 12.54 crores.

The film has been experiencing an upward trend throughout the weekdays, with each day's collections surpassing the previous day's. Hence, it was expected that the same trend would continue on Friday, especially with the start of the weekend, leading to a total of Rs 13 crores. Although this didn't happen, the collections are still impressive.

Adah Sharma's starrer has an impressive achievement as its second Friday earnings of Rs 12.23 crores have surpassed the first week's earnings of Rs 8.03 crores by over 50%.


This suggests that the entire second week should have better collections than the first week's Rs 81.07 crores. However, this would require today's and tomorrow's collections to show similar jumps as last week, which may be too much to expect. It would still be remarkable if the absolute numbers remain comparable, as it would be difficult to replicate the same growth on weekdays as last week.

The total collection of The Kerala Story has reached Rs 93.30 crores, and it's expected to cross the Rs 150 crores mark by the end of the second week. Given that there is not much competition for the movie currently, it is highly possible to achieve this milestone, which would earn it the title of an all-time blockbuster hit.
