The Kashmir Files and RRR win big at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival; Alia, Ranbir recognised for their performances
The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival awarded top honours to SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” and Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Kashmir Files”. The film festival honoured Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan.

RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Junior NTR and Ram Charan, was named Film of the Year. The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, was named Best Film at the film festival’s award ceremony.
Kantara’s Rishab Shetty was named ‘Most Promising Actor’. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were named ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Best Actor’, respectively, for their performances in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra Part One - Shiva.
Varun Dhawan was named ‘Critics’ Choice Best Actor’ for his work in Bhediya, while Anupam Kher was named ‘Most Versatile Actor’ of the Year for his work in The Kashmir Files.
For her contributions to film, actress Rekha was awarded ‘Outstanding Contribution in the Film Industry’. TV series Anupamaa, Zain Imam, Sachet Tandon, and Neeti Mohan, among others, earned prizes.
Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, starring Ajay Devgn, was named ‘Best Web Series’ at the festival. The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival recognises and celebrates talent in the Indian cinema industry.
