The Frustrated drop out: This tea stall in Bengaluru accepts payment in bitcoin
Reportedly, he was pursuing BCA and came to Bengaluru to earn a living. He invested all his savings - about Rs 1.5 lakh 0 in cryptos. In 2020, his investment swelled into Rs 30 lakh.

As reported by the Indian Express, the tea stall belongs to one Shubham Saini. The young man reportedly dropped out of college to start the business.
He set up a small tea stall named ‘The Frustrated drop out’ which has become a hangout for crypto enthusiasts.
Reportedly, he was pursuing BCA and came to Bengaluru to earn a living. He invested all his savings - about Rs 1.5 lakh 0 in cryptos. In 2020, his investment swelled into Rs 30 lakh.
“I had invested Rs 1.5 lakh, and in the matter of few months, I witnessed a 1000 per cent jump in my portfolio. Soon, my crypto wallet increased to Rs 30 lakh, and this was a big deal for a student like me,” he told indianexpress.com.
He stopped asking for money from his parents and paid his college fees and was living a lavish life.
But things took a U-turn in 2021 when crypto prices nosedived. His Rs 30 lakh soon became just Rs 1 lakh. Saini, who aspired to be the Rakesh Jhunjhunwala of crypto world, then had to sell his iPhone. He then decided to set up the tea stall.
“I thought I am the next ‘Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’ of the crypto world, but life is not easy after all,” he said.
Saini says he uses Paxful platform to accept crypto payments. According to reports, one can simply scan a QR code to pay him in crypto currency.
He has a website too: http://www.frustrateddropout.com/. And the tagline of his business is - chal chai peete hai. The startup has a "vision to become the world’s largest green company as well as cafe chain."
