The famous Kinetic Luna is coming back as electric mopeds. Read here
Kinetic Luna, which formerly dominated the Indian scooter industry, is ready to make a comeback, but in a new avatar and with electric technology.

The business created all of the primary subassemblies for the E-Luna, including the main frame, main stand, side stand, and swing arm, and established a specialized production line with an initial capacity of 5,000 units per month.
KEL's managing director, Ajinkya Firodia, reacted on the occasion, pointing out that the Luna's internal combustion engine variant sold more than 2,000 units per day at its height. He expects the electric model will perform similarly. “It is estimated that this company will add around Rs. 30 crore yearly over the next two-three years as the volumes of the E-Luna expand. This would also help KEL increase its position in the EV category”, Firodia said.
The future electric Luna will provide all that the present market requires, especially as EV use in the country grows. As an all-electric last-mile transportation medium, the electric Luna would be aimed at clients in the low-tier market and the load carrier category.
While KEL has given us a general sense of what its first electric scooter will look like, it has not divulged any specifics, like engine specifications, battery pack size, or pricing. There is also no word on when the electric Luna will be available for purchase.
