Vijay's 10th marksheet
According to News 18 report, the 'Jana Nayagan' star gives a detail of how much he scored in each subject. The Tamil star scored 711 out of 1100 marks. In the Tamil subject, he performed well, as he scored 155 out of 200 in it.Then in English, he got 133 out of 200. In science, he scored 206 out of 300. In social science, he got 122 out of 200. Despite getting low scores in Mathematics, he got enough total scores enough to pass.
Early school, college life
The Tamil star's early education started in Chennai and he began his schooling at Fathima School in Kodambakkam before later moving to Balalok School in Virugambakkam. Similar to other students, his schooling years were fairly ordinary, with no big headlines or academic records that hinted at the stardom that was coming.After completing his schooling, he enrolled at Loyola College in Chennai to study visual communication. However, he left college midway after deciding to pursue acting in films — a choice that eventually transformed him into one of the biggest stars in the industry.
Vijay's career in politics
After acting in movies for over three decades, Thalapathy Vijay decided to enter politics and launched his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in 2024. His party made a stunning debut in the Tamil Nadu assembly election results and secured 108 seats but still falls short of a majority to form the government in the state.His upcoming film Jana Nayagan is reportedly set to be his final project in cinema as he shifts his complete focus towards his political career. Although Vijay did not complete his college degree, education has emerged as a key focus in his political messaging.
During his campaign, the TVK chief made a major promise targeted at rural families. He stated that if his party comes to power, the government will bear the entire cost of higher education for students belonging to farming families that own less than two acres of land.
