Tickets have been selling out fast in Thailand for rides on the special "floating train" that runs from Bangkok to Pa Sak Jolasid Dam, Reuters reported

Passengers enjoy the illusion of aquatic rail travel because the rot fai loi nam (train floating on water) travels on an elevated track just above the water level.

This year the illusion is reportedly even more as the water levels in Pa Sak Jolasid Dam – Thailand’s biggest reservoir – due to a post-monsoon rise in water levels.

The train starts at Hua Lamphong Station in Bangkok and reaches and crosses the Pa Sak Jolasid Dam in less than five hours. It stops for about 20 minutes in the middle of the dam so that passengers can click photos.

The train finally halts at the dam station for a few hours, letting tourists walk around the dam and gardens, before starting the journey back.
