TGPSC OTR updation: Step-by-step guide
All TGPSC-registered candidates must verify the accuracy of their personal, educational, and category details.Candidates must update all eligible and additional qualifications in their OTR.
Relevant certificates must be uploaded, including a latest colour passport-size photograph.
Non-compliance will directly impact eligibility for upcoming recruitments.
Deadline to update OTR extended till February 25, as per the press release.
Each candidate is allowed only one OTR, valid until cancelled by the candidate or the Commission.
Not all existing data in the OTR will be editable.

Candidates can only add or enhance details such as:
Changes in correspondence address and communication details
Category-related information
Candidates must be extremely careful while editing/uploading data, as the updated OTR will be treated as the primary and final record for all future notifications.
The OTR updation process began on January 19 and was scheduled to end on February 9. However, the deadline has been extended till February 25.

TGPSC compulsory OTR updation
At present, around 31.56 lakh candidates are registered in the OTR system. The Commission has decided that all future notifications, applications, results and final selections would be processed strictly based on the data available in the OTR. All future notifications, applications, results, and final selections will rely on candidates’ unique OTR data, the Commission said, adding that the mandatory update of these details is required in light of the recent categorisation of Scheduled Castes and changes in candidates’ educational qualifications.“This initiative is part of the Commission’s efforts to ensure faster completion of recruitment processes, early declaration of results and timely issue of appointment orders and to avoid delays caused by data discrepancies and incomplete documentation,” it said.
