Telugu producer Dil Raju, wife welcome baby boy

Velamakucha Venkata Ramana Reddy, or Dil Raju as he is popularly known. has just given us a good news about being blessed with a baby boy. Dil Raju had lost his first wife Anitha in 2017, due to a heart attack. His daughter Harshitha convinced him to marry again which he did in 2020. Harshitha too is in the film production business.

Dil Raju had 2 productions on the floor this year which were "Rowdy Boys" and F3: Fun and Frustration. Both the movies are in Telugu. He has a film "Thank You" releasing in the theatres on 22nd of July 2022.

He is producing and funding a Telegu film which will be made with Vijay in the lead called Thalapathy 66. This would be a bilingual with a Tamil version as well.


Dil Raju also has signed a pan-India film with famous Tamil director Shankar Shanmugham which will star Kiara Advani and Ram Charan. The classy Director has made forays in Hindi films with "Jersey", which has Shahid Kapoor in the lead. He is also in collaboration for another Hindi remake of "F2" which is a popular Telugu film, with Boney Kapoor as the director.

Dil Raju is the recipient of the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment for "Shantamanam Bhavati" in 2016 and "Maharshi" in 2019.

He is also the producer of popular films like Dil, Arya, Bhadra, Bommarillu, Parugu, Kotha Bangaru Lokam etc.
