Telugu actor Taraka Ratna still in coma after suffering cardiac arrest at rally

Actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is still in a coma, according to reports. His health condition is still critical, and his family and party members are currently at the Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital in Bangalore, praying for his recovery. Apparently, Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram have also gone to the hospital. According to Taraka Ratna's cousin, Chaitanya Krishna, the doctors have asked the family to wait until Monday for an update on his condition.

During a political rally in Chitoor, the actor collapsed due to a heart issue. He was immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment. After which, his uncle, Tollywood star Balakrishna suggested they take him to Bengaluru as he suffered a heart attack and his valves were blocked. The actor fell while participating in the Nara Lokesh Yuvagalam Padayatra, an event in which Lokesh offered prayers at a mosque near Kuppam. According to the Superintendent of Police in Chittoor, Taraka Ratna suffered a cardiac arrest and lost consciousness, while walking in the Padayatra.

Ratna, who primarily worked in Telugu cinema, is known for his work in the film Amaravathi and the web series 9 Hours. During his acting career, Ratna acted in the 2002 film Okato Number Kurradu. He received the Nandi Award for Best Villain in 2009 for his role in Amaravathi. He has recently released two films, S5 No Exit and Saradhi.
