Telugu actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna faints during TDP’s Yuva Galam rally

Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, fainted on Friday during TDP’s Yuva Galam rally in Kuppam, Chittoor. He was rushed right away to a nearby hospital. When Ratna reached the hospital, he was administered first-aid and his pulse was revived. Later, he was taken to another hospital.

Although the hospital has not commented yet on his health condition, the angiogram test revealed that Ratna had a 90% blockage in the left artery. Ratna had a cardiac arrest in the political rally. He is currently reported to be stable. Ratna fainted following a stampede as Nara Lokesh was coming out after visiting a mosque.

As Lokesh came out, people rushed to meet him, following which a stampede-like situation arose, and Ratna fell down and fainted at that moment. Seeing this, TDP members rushed through the crowd and took him to a nearby private hospital.



Ratna was also participating in the TDP’s rally that was launched by the party's General Secretary and N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son, Nara Lokesh. He also took part in a puja ceremony at Lakshmipuram Sri Varadaraja Swamy Temple.

After learning about the news, Ratna’s uncle and Telugu actor, Nandamuri Balakrishna visited the hospital to find out about his condition. Balakrishna said that doctors have referred him to be taken to Bengaluru for further medical treatment. He further said that doctors are certain about Ratna’s recovery and confirmed that his vital parameters are currently stable.
