Telegu romantic flick 'Ori Devuda' streaming platform and OTT date revealed

According to some sources, the digital rights to "Ori Devuda" have been purchased by Amazon Prime Video. However, the film's OTT release date is yet to be revealed.

The much-awaited Telugu film, "Ori Devuda," has been quite in the talks on several social media platforms lately. Recently, the producers of the film announced that Victory Venkatesh would make a return to his role of Makkal Selvan from the original version titled "Oh My Kadavule." "Ori Devuda" is the Telugu adaptation of the 2020 Tamil film "Oh My Kadavule." The film "Ori Devuda" will feature actors Vishwak Sen and Mithila Palkar in the lead roles.

Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, ‘Ori Devuda’ revolves around two chums Arjun and Anu (played by Vishwak Sen and Mithila Palkar), who eventually marry. However, after one year following their marriage, Arjun realizes that he has made the wrong decision by marrying his best friend and applies for a divorce.


Story takes an interesting turn when a stranger enters Arjun’s life, and surprisingly, he seems to know everything. How this mysterious person changes Arjun and Anu’s marital lives forms the film’s underling plotline.

Some sources have suggested that online streaming giant Amazon Prime Video has paid a hefty amount to secure the digital streaming rights to "Ori Devuda." However, no official announcement has been made in this regard by either the online streaming platform or the makers of the movie. As per the sources, the OTT release date of "Ori Devuda" will be disclosed by the makers soon. Interestingly, the addition of Victory Venkatesh has increased the excitement among the fans.

"Ori Devuda" is the first Tollywood project for actor Mithila Palker. Ashwath Marimuthi has written and directed the film. "Ori Devuda," made by Sri Venkateshwara Creations and PVP Cinema, also features Rahul Ramakrishna. The movie's music is composed by Leon James, and Tharun Bhascker has written the dialogues for "Ori Devuda." It is a romantic comedy flick.
