It was a success not possible for someone like Avula Durgaprasad, a rural-raised, 19 years old boy who cracked the JEE mains. He scored 96.48 percent on the exam. Saddened with the loss of his mother, he took the test the same day his mother passed away, with a heavy heart.

Durgaprasad took the test, torn between his desire to succeed in life and his affection for his mother, Narasamma, who, despite being blind, supported him throughout his life. He had a personal loss at home hanging on him as he responded to questions, yet he managed to stay composed and clear the test.

Durgaprasad, raised in misery and hardship, achieved educational distinction through perseverance and hard work, which he could accomplish with the support of his family, particularly his mother. Durgaprasad, the younger of two brothers, achieved a 10/10 percent and 940 marks in the 12th to pass his SCC exam. He attended schools close to Khammam for his high school and college degrees.

Struggles of the family
Mohan Reddy, the father of Durgaprasad, is a peasant who wed Narasamma despite knowing she was born blind. Their eldest child, Jayasimha Reddy, is a second-year law student in Hyderabad. Mohan Reddy is from the Maoist-affected village of Kaliveru in Cherla Mandal. For their studies, he relocated his family to Kaikondaigudem in Khammam. Even though living in poverty was difficult, Durgaprasad never lost track of his aim. He put a lot of effort into studying alone in a room for the sole purpose of passing the JEE. He relied on Google for assistance rather than attending any coaching institutes since he could not finance them. In the meantime, his mother's health began to decline, and she passed away the day before Durgaprasad's examination.

Durgaprasad's future plans
Durgaprasad, with his JEE success, honored his mother, who supported him throughout his life. He has plans to be an IAS officer in the future, as his parents had hoped.

When Mohan Reddy learned that his son had excelled in JEE, he was overcome with happiness. He appreciated his son's efforts and dedication and called him a person who had grown up with the principles and discipline that he had instilled in them early in life.
