At an event on Saturday Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav showed off his singing skills and attempted to match it with the popular film singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya.

The movie ‘Anjaam’ starring SRK and Madhuri Dixit was released in 1994 and garnered huge success amongst its audience. One can say its reverbrance is still seen today, and especially in Bihar’s Aurangabad District.


As Abhijeet sang the song "Badi mushkil hai" Yadav, who shared the video on Twitter, sang along for more than two minutes. In the video he is seen quickly moving from singing a line off stage to standing next to the professional singer for a duet on the stage itself.


The video came from a tweet by the young leader with the caption sharing that Yadav was at the inauguration of Surya Mahotsav 2023 in Deo, Aurangabad when the famous Abhijit Bhattacharya managed to make him sing along to the song.

The video was well received by Yadav’s Twitter audience who called it fun to watch and many even applauded his singing skills.

Many also asserted that the video should not be viewed through a political lens since it looked as if he was enjoying himself.

Towards the end of the video, Abhijeet Bhattacharya can be heard saying that he presented the talent of Tejashwi Yadav today which was unknown to us before.
