Teen gang-raped and killed; older sister planned crime, say UP police
The police have arrested seven people in connection to the incident and they have confessed to their involvement in the crime and narrated the entire chain of events in the interrogation. The accused are between 18 and 19 years of age.

Sanjiv Suman, the Superintendent of Police of Lakhimpur Kheri district, told reporters that the police have arrested seven people in connection to the incident including four men who allegedly raped the girl in the sugarcane field and later strangled her, her elder sister and two other men who were on guard.
They have confessed to their involvement in the crime and narrated the entire chain of events in the interrogation. The accused are between 18 and 19 years of age.
The police also reported that the younger sister found out about the illicit affair of her elder sister with the four men and objected to it which resulted in frequent fights between them.
On Tuesday, the girl took her younger sibling to the sugarcane field on the pretext of answering nature’s call. There the 4 men, namely Ankit, Amar Singh, Ranjit Chauhan, and Sandip Chauhan, raped her. After that, the four of them strangled her to death with her scarf.
All this occurred as her older sister watched the incident and two other men, namely, Deepu Chauhan and Arjun, stood on guard. Later the same day, some villagers found her body and reported it to the police.
