Teacher takes out cobra from girl's schoolbag, video goes viral

A teacher in a Madhya Pradesh school is seen emptying out a big cobra from a student's schoolbag, in a video that has gone viral.

The video clip showed the teacher at Badoni School in Shajapur unzipping the bag and first take out the books and other contents before giving it a shake a couple of times and tip out the venomous snake.

The class 10 student, Uma Rajak had not idea how the snake found its way there and was alerted only when she felt something move inside the bag.


She then alerted the teacher who managed to safely empty it out on to the yard of the school where it first briefly raised its hood and then slithered away among the bushes. Nobody was injured in the incident.

The clip was posted to Twitter by Karan Vashistha, who identifies himself on his Twitter handle as a BJP worker.

On Twitter, a lot of people were full of praise for the teacher, not just for bravely coming to the aid of the pupil but also for the way he handled the situation.
