Teacher gets student to massage her arm, is suspended: Viral video

A teacher at a primary school in Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi is seen getting her young student to massage her arm in a video that is going viral on social media.

The video, apparently shot by someone inside the classroom, shows the teacher seated comfortably and drinking water from a green bottle while a child massages her left arm. She can also be seen shouting some instructions at the children. It seems like this was done during class hours.

The teacher was identified as Urmila Singh at the Pokhari Primary School in Bawan Block. TOI reported that the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) launched an inquiry into the matter and suspended her. The BSA also promised further action after getting the inquiry report.
