Raj Anadkat, who played Tappu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has left the show. He said goodbye to one of the longest long-running comedy shows through an Instagram post. Raj posted a lengthy message on his Instagram account confirming that he will no longer appear in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, On December 6.

"Hello Everyone," Raj wrote on Instagram. It's time to put all speculation and questions to rest. My relationship with Neela Film Productions and Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah has come to an end. It's been a fantastic journey of learning, making friends, and experiencing some of the best years of my career."Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

He went on, "I'd like to thank everyone who helped me along the way, including the entire TMKOC team, my friends and family, and, of course, all of you. Everyone who welcomed me into the show and adored me as 'TAPU' , your love for my craft has always pushed me to give my all to each and every one of you, every time."

Raj Anadkat was missing from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, for a while, fueling rumours that he had left the show. Raj confirmed his departure from TMKOC in an Instagram post on December 6. One social media user commented on Raj's announcement post, saying, "Ek aur tapu khatam." "Ab tmkoc shayad bndh hojayega," wrote another.

Sailesh Lodha, who played Taarak Mehta on the show, also left earlier this year. Sachin Shroff eventually took his place.
