TANCET 2022 results declared by Anna University: How to view results

Anna University has officially released the TANCET 2022 results on its official website. Anna University is a public university in Tamil Nadu, having its main campus in Chennai.


On June 9, 2022, Anna University declared the TANCET results on its official website, i.e., www.tancet.annauniv.edu. Applicants for the TANCET exam can view their results and download their marks cards. The University has updated a direct link on its official website for the ease of the students. The students can view their results by clicking on that link. However, students need to log in via their registered email id and password.



TANCET 2022 Exam registration began on March 30, and Anna University conducted the exam on May 14 and 15. The results are declared today, and all the qualified candidates will be called for counselling.


The counselling will act as a bridge between students and the participating colleges of Tamil Nadu. A detailed notification about the counselling process will be released later.


Every year, more than forty thousand students sit for the TANCET exam. TANCET exam is conducted in offline mode with hundred objective type questions. The time-bound for the said exam is two hours.


The result will contain the personal details of the candidates. In case there’s any discrepancy, the candidates are required to send their queries with proof at tancetau@gmail.com. The exam authorities will release the scorecard ten days post-TANCER 2022 result declaration. The scorecard will be required at the time of admission. If any candidates’ TANCET 2022 score card gets stolen or lost, they can pay an additional hundred rupees and apply for a duplicate scorecard. The DD of the additional fee needs to be submitted to the Secretary’s office.


What is TANCET, and who conducts it?

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is an admission test for the Post Graduation courses all across the colleges of Tamil Nadu. Every year, Anna University conducts this test. This entrance exam is held for PG courses of MPlan, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, MArch,etc. Anna University is a public state university situated in Chennai, India. It is named after Tamil Nadu’s former Chief Minister, Late. Dr C. N. Annadurai. It is the world’s largest technical University.


How to check TANCET 2022 results?

First, a candidate needs to open the official website of TANCET 2022, i.e. www.tancet.annauniv.edu.

There will be a direct link to view the results on the web page. Click on that.

Then, a candidate needs to enter the login credentials like email ID and password to view the results.

Now, a candidate can view their results.

Personal details of the candidates like roll number, date of birth, marks, and rank will be mentioned in the results.

It is advised to print the results and keep a hard copy of them.

Candidates are required to safely keep their hall tickets which will be required at the time of admission.
