Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal misses Daya, here's what he said

Jethalal and Daya’s famed Jodi is yet to reunite on one of Indian television’s longest-running shows, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Disha Vakani, who played Daya, has not been a part of TMKOC since 2015. She is one of the show’s most well-known characters, having garnered a significant fan base over the years due to her distinct acting ability, amusing interactions, and shenanigans. It is yet unknown if Disha would return to the show.


When questioned about Daya aka Disha Vakani’s comeback to the programme, Dilip Joshi stated that it absolutely relies on the creators. They will determine whether or not to replace and cast a new actor.



The actor talked about missing Daya and having a good time on set with her. “I miss the character of Daya as an actress. You've been enjoying Daya and Jethalal’s wonderful and enjoyable moments for a long time. That portion, that perspective, that amusing bit has been lacking since Disha ji departed. I miss the chemistry between Daya and Jetha. People are saying the same thing. Let's see, I’m always optimistic, and Asit bhai is always optimistic. TMKOC producer Asit Kumarr Modi unveiled a new Tapu. Tapu is now played by actor Nitish Bhaluni, who took over for Raj Anadkat. Following that, he addressed the media with Dilip Joshi, who plays his on-screen father Jethalal.
