Swiggy announces reward for locating horse-riding delivery person in Mumbai

Lately, a video showing a man riding a horse in the rain in Mumbai has become very popular on the Internet. That man was wearing a Swiggy T-shirt and carrying a delivery bag with Swiggy’s logo, and it was assumed that he was going to deliver food. But, no one, including Swiggy, has been able to locate the man.

As a result, the food delivery platform has announced a reward for the people who can locate the brave young man who chose a horse to deliver food even during the rain.

As per a statement made by the Swiggy Chief, they would like to know whether he was riding Bijli or Toofan, what he was carrying in his bag and why he was so determined to deliver food at the right time.


Moreover, Swiggy has started a campaign named Swiggy-wide-horse-hunt which will provide the person locating this accidental brand ambassador with a cash prize of Rs. 5000.



It is not the first time something strange has happened during rain in Mumbai. Recently, an Uber driver asked for a fare of Rs. 3000 from a man for covering a distance of only 50 km during heavy rains.



That man, Shravankumar Suvarna, was a Twitter user, and he shared this shocking incident on Twitter, causing a huge roar over the Internet. He shared that his ride home became costlier than a flight to Goa. He even shared a screengrab which showed the Uber Go was charging Rs 3041, while Uber premier and Uber XL were charging Rs. 4081 and Rs. 5159 respectively on that day as it was pouring heavily.

He continued to share that even on a good day, he has to pay a fare between Rs. 800 and Rs. 1000. After this, different Twitter users started commenting on how to use this money better, like visiting Dadar and eating in a restaurant or giving apartment rents.
