Sushmita Sen reacts to Harnaaz Sandhu's gown tribute, says “it’s beautiful”

Sushmita Sen recently gave one of the most heartwarming responses while responding to a fan's question on Harnaaz Sandhu's tribute attire at Miss Universe 2022.

Harnaaz Sandhu, the reigning Miss Universe for the year 2021, selected a dress with portraits of the winners of the title in 1994 and 2000, Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta respectively , for her final walk. Sandhu crowned American R'Bonney Gabriel to succeed her at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant's grand finale in New Orleans.,

Her gesture earned lots of praise from various parts of the country. Sushmita Sen, Miss Universe 1994, also spoke about Sandhu's outfit during an Instagram live session and stated that she thought it was a lovely homage.

Sen said she was looking forward to hugging Sandhu in person to express her gratitude as she accompanied her on such a significant walk adding that Sandhu made us proud.

She even uploaded a video and thanked everyone for gracing her life.

Lara Dutta also sent a letter expressing her gratitude for Harnaaz's unique gesture of generosity on this occasion. Lara wished that she would always sparkle like a diamond in response to Harnaaz's article, in which she talked about the significance of the garment.
