Many countries across the world are getting ready to witness the last solar eclipse (Surya Grahan) of the year on October 25, 2022 - a day after Diwali. This will be a partial solar eclipse and will be visible from most parts of India.

A solar eclipse is a phenomenon in which the moon passes between the sun and the earth. The solar eclipse will begin at 11 am and end at 7 pm on Tuesday. This celestial event is unique in itself, as such a phenomenon will next be seen on March 20, 2034.

Aside from science, eclipses have enormous cultural ramifications for Indians, with many ceremonies and beliefs linked with them. The last solar eclipse of the year is expected to have distinct effects on different sun signs.


Astrologer Gurudev Shree Kashyap, who is also the chairman/founder of the All India Institute of Occult Science, explains how the Surya Grahan would affect all the zodiac signs. There are 12 zodiac signs in total, namely Taurus, Aries, Cancer, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

Aries: Married ladies and their spouses may experience difficulties.

Taurus: There may be needless worry and strain.

Gemini: More expenses and work will be postponed.

Cancer: The work will be completed successfully.

Leo: There will be a financial benefit.

Virgo: They may experience a financial loss.

Scorpios, like Virgos, may suffer financial losses.

Sagittarius: Profit and development are on the way.

Capricorn: Disease risks, dread

There will be fears regarding youngsters in Aquarius.

Pisces: Enemies might be a threat, but they may also see profits.

The last solar eclipse of this year will be visible across the Middle East, Europe, the northern part of Africa, western Asia, the North Atlantic Ocean, and the North Indian Ocean.
