Producer Kalaipuli Thanu has rejected rumours which said the Suriya-starrer Vaadivaasal to be directed by Vetrimaaran has been shelved.

The rumours said the makers of Vaadivaasal had dropped the film due to unknown reasons, while another set of rumours suggested that Suriya had dropped out from the movie. The producer has categorically said no such thing has happened.
